[edit] Hello

Hello, I've been looking at the stuff you've been working on, and like the general direction that you are taking so far. The one thing that I might suggest, is that you not use colons in the titles. I understand what you were trying to achieve, and I think I have gotten the BFS page to refer back the way you wanted it to, both visually and functionally.

Incidentally, while subpages are technically okay, I believe they are usually discouraged in the case of articles, which is probably why the referral function doesn't seem to exist in the main article namespace. To understand about namespaces, you might take a look at a couple of places:

  1. http://www.wikia.com/wiki/Namespace - An explaination of what namespace is about.
  2. Special:Allpages - You might take a look at the different namespaces to get an idea of what they are about--Kirk 01:18, 8 August 2006 (UTC).

Incidentally, regarding the speedy deletes, the only thing missing is an admin that is here on a regular basis. I've already put in a request for both of us, to see what happens.--Kirk 01:22, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi from Wikia

Hi - I was checking out all your great contributions across the various health wikis. I've been thinking about how to pull together the many wikia on health into one larger wiki that could be comprehensive. Do you think that would be a good idea?
On a seperate note, I'm wondering if there should be a place where patients can come and discuss what drugs are being recommended to treat their illnesses (to see if different doctors perscribe different solutions) and what the results are. It could become a guide to the best treatment for each health issue... Thanks! Gil (talk) 21:16, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Please see my response that follows. --Ermeyers

[edit] The Health Wikia is the General Health Wiki and it helps people deal with general illness and chronic illness

I think that everything is going to work as is right now, with the Wikia:c:Health general, Wikia:c:Cancer specific, Wikia:c:Depression specific, etc. Here's why. As you know Cancer and Depression are very common ailments, so I'd expect a larger community, which would support that separate Wikia development. As you've seen, I've created my own template to navigate all of the various Health related Wikia that I'm interested in, even Wikia:c:Christianity, because I know that spirituality is a real healer in my life of my personal suffering with a chronic illness.

I still have to research how subforums actually work and are implemented in Wikia, so please excuse my subpage-like errors here.

[edit] Illness and Drug Discussion

[edit] Spirituality Discussion

[edit] Result

This allow for pages such as Wikia:c:Health:Neurological disorders/PNH/BFS which would have forums to discuss the illness

With special Spiritual forums at

This is exactly what I'm working on trying to achieve right now.
